Multifunctional shopping-entertainment centre Konstantinovsky

Location

The multifunctional shopping-entertainment centre Konstantinovsky is being constructed in the south-west of Pushkin in Sofia. Sofia is a historical name for the part of modern Pushkin that used to be a town in times of Catherine the Great. At the same time as the town was founded, Konstantinovskaya fair began, and that is why the name Konstantinovsky was taken and given to the multifunctional shopping-entertainment centre. The total area to be developed of about 4248,0 square metres is located inside the residential district in a green quiet block of buildings bordered by Gusarskaya, Sapernaya, and Parkovaya Streets and Krasnoselskaya road. South of the plot is Catherine’s Park and Saint Sofia Cathedral towers to the east. It takes 15 minutes to get to the airport, 20-25 minutes to get to the closest metro station Moskovskaya and not more than 1 hour to the centre of Saint-Petersburg.

Architectural concept

The building is projected at 5-storeys, parallelepiped and with protruding staircases. The ground floor is intended for two grocery stores with their own loading facilities; and loading facilities for upper floors are also planned. There are six trade halls with ancillary rooms on the first, second and third floors. The fourth floor is intended as a recreational zone (billiards, bowling and a cafe for 50 people).
